Broken reference
From Erights
Broken is one of the three primary reference states, along with near and eventual. A broken reference is one which no longer refers to anything useful.
Broken references may be resolved (disconnected) or unresolved (unconnected), depending on whether they are the remnant of a far reference or a promise.
